We’ll hear him say: Peace!
When we listen to Jesus’ voice, the first word we hear is – Peace! Next, we hear: Don’t worry. Have no fear. Love one another. Feel the peace that I give you. Not peace as the world understands it. My peace. Perfect peace!
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives.” – John 14:23-29
Jesus told his friends, and he tells us today: “Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.”
So, why is it so hard for us to listen to Jesus’ voice? We know it’s him! Yet the voices of the world seem louder, more insistent.
At PEACE Lutheran Church, we gather each Sunday with one goal: to listen to Jesus’ voice. When we listen together, we support each other. Then, we go out into the world and do our best to walk the talk. We support each other in that, too. We invite you to listen and to walk with us as we do our best to listen to Jesus.
God of amazing love, open my ears to hear the voice of Jesus as I walk through this world! Guide me, lead me, keep me safe and love me through all my troubles. Bring me home to you! In the name of the risen Jesus I pray, Amen.

Sunday School
TODAY, meet us at 9:45 a.m. in the Game Room (near the Fellowship Center). After a little fussbol, at 10 a.m. we move to our Youth & Family Lounge for a Sunday School lesson.
On the first Sunday of the month, we meet right after the 10 a.m. worship service – at about 11:20 a.m. – in the Youth & Family Lounge.
Youth @ PEACE is our all-ages Bible study, where young disciples learn the core stories of our faith and what it means to walk the Jesus Path. We welcome all who yearn to learn about our loving, gracious Creator.
Toddlers & babies
Kids in church: PLEASE bring your young children to church! Their fussing and squealing may pain you, but they make us glad! Pick up an activity bag as you go into the Sanctuary (on the left in a basket, ask an usher). During the sermon, you can take your kids to our Nursery; a speaker is turned on so you can hear the sermon and follow the service.

- Art Show & Wine Tasting – 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 31, at PEACE. Beautify your home and support our local artists! $20 per person. Art sold by silent auction. A benefit for the PEACE Organ Fund.
- In concert: Organist Simon Gledhill – 4 p.m. Sunday, June 23, in the Sanctuary. This amazing English performer is on tour in the United States.
- Exercise class – Get fit at PEACE! Fun, inspiring exercise at 11 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the Fellowship Center.
