We WALK because thousands were forced to walk hundreds of miles to flee RWANDA when about a million people were tragically murdered in the ethnic genocide of 1994.
We WALK because Peace Lutheran Church has helped Pastor John Rutsindintwarane since 1999 enable people in Rwanda to reconcile and work together to build health clinics and schools and cooperatives in their communities. [Rwanda Connection Committee]
We WALK in the hope that you and family and friends will WALK with us to support this Godly man and contribute to his continuing good work in Rwanda.
Will you WALK with us? To do so you may WALK the new Wolf Creek Trail in-person at any time during the week of October 10-17. Access the Trail at the parking lot of the North Star Mining Museum (933 Allison Ranch Road, GV) and observe Covid-19 rules.
Or you may virtually WALK the Trail by viewing both an 8-minute video by clicking on the video below and also scrolling to view photos of Trail to complete your WALK.
In lieu of obtaining sponsors as in previous years because of Covid 19 restrictions, please consider making your own generous contribution for Pastor John’s good work by mailing a check to “Peace Lutheran Church” (Memo: “Walk for Rwanda”) at 828 W. Main Street, Grass Valley, CA 95945, or give online to “Rwanda Fund”.
And,please let us know that you did WALK by sending us an email at jglynnline@yahoo.com.
