“They broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God.” – Acts 2:46
Small Dinner Fellowship
Do you enjoy meeting new people and getting to know them over a meal? Jesus’ followers did, and we at PEACE do, too!
Groups of eight to nine people meet several times during the year for potluck dinners, which include appetizers, a main course, a salad and dessert. (If you haven’t heard, we Lutherans are famous for our potlucks.) Participants rotate hosting the events at their homes, and each group decides on its own menus and schedule.
Both couples and single people are welcome to participate!
Every fall, the groups are re-organized so participants can get to know more people. It’s a great way for newcomers to get involved at PEACE!
Alternative Dinner Group
Some folks prefer dining out. Another group does just that, meeting spontaneously at area restaurants throughout the year. Watch for announcements in the atrium or the Sunday bulletin.
“The goal is to keep people mixing it up so they can learn new names and faces.” – Gloria B., Lake Wildwood
Lunch Groups
Is mid-day a better time for you? Especially as the seasons turn and the sun sets earlier, some folks prefer gathering early in the day. Lunch groups also are forming at PEACE this fall. See the sign-up sheet in our Atrium for details.
