Have breakfast with Jesus today! ONE WORSHIP SERVICE @ 10am
Breakfast was probably the last thing Jesus’ friends expected from him. Their teacher and friend had died a humiliating death. A few of Jesus’ women followers – and even a couple of the men, too – had told this strange tale of seeing Jesus alive. So strange. Really scary. Totally confusing! Might as well go fishing and earn a little money.
Then, they saw Jesus squatting on the beach by a fire. They smelled fish cooking. Their stomachs growled – they had been out on the lake all night, but had caught nothing. Jesus told them to cast their nets one last time. It came back full of wriggling fish. The nets strained with the load, but they didn’t break!
“Come and have breakfast.” – John 21:12
God of amazing love, feed me with your spiritual food – breakfast, lunch and dinner! Teach me to boldly cast my net out into the waters of this world. Help me to trust that your net never breaks. In the name of the risen Jesus I pray, Amen.

Sunday School
TODAY is the first Sunday of the month, so we meet right after the 10 a.m. worship – at about 11:15 a.m. – in the Youth & Family Lounge.
Most other Sundays, meet us at 9:45 a.m. in the Game Room (near the Fellowship Center). After a little fussbol, at 10 a.m. we move to our Youth & Family Lounge for a Sunday School lesson.
Youth @ PEACE is our all-ages Bible study, where young disciples learn the core stories of our faith and what it means to walk the Jesus Path. We welcome all who yearn to learn about our loving, gracious Creator.
Toddlers & babies
Kids in church: PLEASE bring your young children to church! Their fussing and squealing may pain you, but they make us glad! Pick up an activity bag as you go into the Sanctuary (on the left in a basket, ask an usher). During the sermon, you can take your kids to our Nursery; a speaker is turned on so you can hear the sermon and follow the service.
Toddler Time: If you’re interested in our special Sunday School program for the tiniest of disciples, call (530) 575-6132. https://www.wearesparkhouse.org/store/category/286879/Frolic-Nursery

Your spiritual growth
We would love to grow spiritually with you!
Like natural seasons, our church seasons have a special meaning for our spiritual lives.
We are now in the season of Easter. During this spiritual time, we read stories about Jesus’ appearances after his resurrection. And, we think about the many ways God renews our lives here and now.
Thank you, God for sending your Anointed One – Jesus! – who brings new life to this broken world!
