For this  Fourth Sunday of Easter we continue to proclaim the Good News, “Christ is risen! Christ is risen indeed! Alleluia!” The traditional focus of this Fourth Sunday of Easter is on Jesus being the “good shepherd.” On this “Good Shepherd Sunday,” we hear Jesus speak of himself as the shepherd who is the gatekeeper and who opens the gate for the sheep who know his voice. So the sheep follow the shepherd. Through Jesus we are saved and live an abundant life. How do we hear the voice of Jesus? What is this abundant life and how do we experience it and live it?

Take care. Be well. Keep your distance so that we, along with our neighbors, can together stay well and save lives.

With confidence and hope in the risen Jesus Christ.
