“Peace be with you”
Jesus promises peace to believers. But what kind of peace is he talking about?
Jesus’ peace is not like peace that comes from the material world, he tells his followers after his resurrection. The story is mixed with references to loving Jesus and following the instructions for living that he gave. He says that God – Jesus’ “father” – will love us if we do that. Jesus also promises he will send his followers the Holy Spirit.
“Do not let your hearts be troubled” – that is Jesus’ concluding advice. Trust me! Lean on me! Everything is going to be all right!

Bible memory verses: Kids can earn Bible Bucks for verses they memorize and redeem them for cool prizes! These days, we are working on the Lord’s Prayer and the 10 Commandments.
