Lutheran Disaster Response has a long history of working with local organizations and cooperating with other relief organizations, when disaster strikes anywhere in the world. They see Lutherans among the first to arrive and the last to leave.

In Houston, the affiliate of Lutheran Disaster Response started working with local leaders and officials even before Hurricane Harvey hit to deal with the storm’s devastation. Their goal: long-term recovery, walking with the people affected by this crisis through every phase. This work is expected to take years. Lutheran Disaster Response will remain there with Texans as they rebuild.

At PEACE Lutheran Church, we believe God calls us to help all people in need. Through that work, we become the face of Christ to those who suffer. Your financial support brings you into that work, too.

Your financial assistance ensures this good work will get done. Thank you for your support!
