On December 4, before and after church, Peacemakers will present a special quilt show featuring the results of this year’s fruits of their labors of love.
Meeting on Thursdays at Peace, the women in Peacemakers turn their creativity and skill into lovely quilts, most of which are donated to charities serving children in need or sickness. This year Peacemakers is giving you the opportunity to view these quilts AND to purchase one (or more) prior to their annual Holiday distribution. There will be quilts and quilted items of all types and sizes, including some made especially for Christmas. Did you have every good intention of making a special quilt for that new baby that’s coming? We’ve got you! Were you hoping to decorate a little more for Christmas this year? A throw-size quilt on the couch! A cheerful wall hanging or table runner! Voila! And it won’t look like everyone else’s who shops online at Target, Amazon, etc. Is there a special someone that needs some extra hugs this Holiday season? Wrap them in a cozy quilt. Do you have a new big-brother grandson, or big-sister granddaughter who might appreciate a special bright quilt just for them? Children’s quilts are our specialty.
