2023 Harvest Dinner – Sunday, October 15
Fun, music, delicious food!
Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 15 at 5:00 pm and join us in the PLC Fellowship Center for the annual Harvest Dinner. Along with fellowship, and food and wine, we’ll highlight this year of blessings (including your own thoughts); and enjoy entertainment by Thom Greathouse, with his delightful piano/cabaret music. We will also hear a brief update from Pastor John of Rwanda on his “most recent work in Nyarubuye, ‘where his heart is,’ and where we made a significant contribution by purchasing all of the materials to construct a roof for their new primary school” (quote from Jim Line).
Our sterling, five-star dinner team has a yummy menu planned. Look for sign-up sheets in the Atrium in the coming weeks for the following:
Dinner, at $15/person, $30/family*
Pease sign up and let us know how many tickets you would like (plus any preferences you have for gluten free, no onions, and vegetarian options). Tickets will be sold each Sunday by a member of the dinner team in the Atrium. All proceeds go to cover the cost of the dinner and entertainment, and any overage will go to the WALK for RWANDA.
Margo Schulze’s German Apple Cake – if you can bake a cake for the dinner, your help is appreciated; recipes will be by the sign-up sheet in the Atrium
Setup/kitchen crew – set up and decorate, cook, serve, clean up – thank you for offering to help
