Need faith? Worship with us!
Today we have ONE WORSHIP SERVICE at 10 a.m. A congregational meeting will follow the worship service, after coffee and baked goods in our Fellowship Center.
Jesus said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well.” – Mark 5:34
Faith forms the central story in the Gospel message you’ll hear about today. Two people look to Jesus for healing. Both face losing everything. Both have no hope left, other than this itinerant preacher that has the whole country abuzz with stories of miracles.
And to both of them, Jesus offers the healing they crave.
The two people healed are – both – among the most marginalized of their society. One is a woman whose menstrual blood never stops, making her permanently ritually unclean – a pariah in her own home. The other is a girl, just 12 years old – not very important in a culture that puts more value on boys. Yet Jesus lifts them both up!
Both the unclean woman and the father of the sick girl had faith that Jesus could help them. What about you?
Faith is something that grows stronger with exercise! At PEACE, we feel the growth in our own hearts. We see the result in our lives. Exercise with us at 10 a.m. worship service this morning! (We hope you’ll stay for coffee and baked goodies!)
Healing, overcoming God, lover of the hurting ones, please grow my faith in you. May I feel your healing touch in my life now! Amen!

Your spiritual growth
Like natural seasons, our church seasons have a special meaning for our spiritual lives. For us, we are in “Time After Pentecost,” a season of growth – much like summer! Read about Time After Pentecost here.
No Adult Forum today due to the 10 a.m. worship service and congregational meeting at 11:15 a.m.
Most Sundays, the Adult Forum meets in the Old Fellowship Hall at 10 a.m. Stop first in the Fellowship Center around the corner to pick up coffee & baked goods!
We’re on break for the summer! But we’re planning a fun trip to the South Yuba River and a family game night in August. Stay tuned for details!
Youth @ PEACE is our all-ages Bible study, where young disciples learn the core stories of our faith and what it means to walk the Jesus Path. We welcome all who yearn to learn about our loving, gracious Creator.
Kids in church: PLEASE bring your young children to church! Their fussing and squealing may pain you, but they make us glad! Pick up an activity bag as you go into the Sanctuary (on the left in a basket, ask an usher). During the sermon, you can take your kids to our Nursery; a speaker is turned on so you can hear the sermon and follow the service.
Toddler Time: If you’re interested in our special Sunday School program for the tiniest of disciples, call (530) 575-6132 for information.
