Silent prayer, sometimes called Centering, Contemplative, or Meditative Prayer, is the practice of surrender, of accepting this moment that comes on the breath of God. This practice creates breathing space, and with breathing space comes a grace-filled, wordless awareness that God is in the stillness. Pastor Judith will guide us through separate meditations, demystifying a practice often linked with the sound of “Om (Aum),” and connecting it to a prayer practice threaded throughout the Bible.
