From the Contemporary Issues Seminar—Saturday, March 22

Watch the video:

The authoritative duo of Dr. Sterling Bailey and Pr. David Mullen will present the scientific and religious thinking on the intersection of faith and science in an upcoming Contemporary Issues seminar in the Fellowship Center at Peace.

The Saturday morning presentation will first cover scientific opinions: what are they and how are they used for observations, predictions and theories, with examples from the developmental ages of the universe, earth and the human species. Christian faith concepts will follow, exploring why there is concern about possi-ble conflicts between the two realms.

Questions, doubts, and observations will be encouraged and used in discussion groups and then addressed by Bailey and Mullen and the audience as a whole. It will be a time for attendees to express their spiritual concerns in a safe and structured environment and explore doubts and questions, hear others’ thoughts, and perhaps find some meaningful resolution and gain ample ideas to take home and ponder.
