Annual Congregation Meeting
Sunday, February 8, 2026
On Sunday, February 8, immediately following the worship service, the congregation will meet for our 61st Annual Congregation meeting in the Fellowship Center. We encourage everyone to attend. We will be voting on members for the church council, members of the Mission Endowment Fund board, and the budget for 2026.
Copies of the Annual Report will sent to members soon. Minimal copies will be available at the meeting.
Calling to join Church Council
The church council of PLC meets once a month for 1 ½ – 2 hours to discuss and make decisions on fi-nancial, building-related, administrative, and spiritual matters of the congregation. Here all information flows together from all the different ministries that we are doing. Here many new initiatives are born, new ideas discussed, and important decisions for the health and vitality of the congregation are made.
While some may have experienced it otherwise, being part of church council at this time is actually (mostly) fun here at PLC. Do you feel you would like to take on more leadership responsibilities, work on the future of the church, and pray and lift up this congregation to God, who is gathering us as one? Why don’t you discern the call in prayer and then talk to Rick Panos or Pastor Christian about church council?
Did you know that you also can nominate someone to be on council? Do you have someone in mind whom you would like to see taking on a bigger leadership role? Please talk to them and if they are okay, let us know.
For the current church council,
Rick Panos and Pastor Christian
