Hell seems to be part of our faith, right? The good and saved people go to heaven, while the others go to hell. Easy enough, isn’t it? But just what exactly does the Bible say about hell, which concepts and understandings do we find, how is it anchored in the ancient world view, and how has medieval belief formed our understanding of hell today?
