PEACE in Rwanda

PEACE Lutheran Church has a very personal relationship with Rwanda that goes back to 1995. It’s a friendship that planted the seeds of hope and healing a year after the gruesome genocide that tore the country apart.

Our Celebrate Rwanda Festival supports the studies of Jackson Musafiri, a Lutheran pastor who was a teacher and an evangelist for the Lutheran Church in Rwanda. He became an ordained pastor in December 2017. He now is in the process of entering a seminary near Rwanda to continue his training as a leader in his country.
