Fellowship and fun for the whole family!
PEACE Lutheran Church’s annual picnic starts at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, at Commodore Park in Lake Wildwood. It’s a great time for fellowship and fun, as we enjoy the last days of summer!
Lutherans are famous for our potlucks, and the PEACE picnic follows that tradition. We’re planning to barbecue ribs, chicken and hot dogs. Please bring a salad or dessert to share — a sign-up sheet is in the Atrium at church, or call the office at (530) 273-9631. (You MUST sign up so we can put your name on the call-in list at the gate.)
Our youth are planning games for children young and old. Traditional picnic games include gunny sack races, three-legged races, balloon tossing and clothes relays. We’ll also have bocce on the lawn and boat rides on the lake!
