Feel like something’s missing?

Jesus promises that, when you walk his Path, you’ll never be hungry again. What’s really amazing? The more you let Jesus feed you, the more you find that this world’s bread – the material things we think we’re hungry for – isn’t what fills you up.

Eat with us here at PEACE Lutheran Church. We would love to accompany you on the Jesus Path!

And because God feeds us, we give thanks! Our new pastor, the Rev. Eileen Smith LeVan, has come to us. Praise God for sending her to PEACE Lutheran Church!

“I am the bread of life.” – John 6:35

Today’s Bible Readings: 1 Kings 19:4-8; Psalm 34:1-8; Ephesians 4:25-5:2; John 6:35, 41-51

School Supply Collection

PEACE Lutheran Church Women are collecting supplies for Scotten Elementary (K-4) and Lyman Gilmore Middle (5-8) school students through today. Students need sturdy backpacks, crayons, colored pencils, rulers and other supplies. Let’s help area students get off to a good start when school begins! Look for the collection box in the Atrium.

Coming Up

Adopt-a-Road: We will meet at 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at the church to head out to pick up roadside litter along our stretch of Rough and Ready Highway. Sign up in the Atrium to participate in this service to our community. When the work is done we’ll enjoy a no-host breakfast. Anyone age 14 or over is welcome!

Adult Bible Study

We will not have an adult class between services during August. That means you can enjoy our Coffee Fellowship even longer! Check for coffee, juice and home-made cookies in the Fellowship Center.

Sunday School

Youth @ PLC (our all-ages Bible study) is on recess for the summer and will resume with an Ice Cream Trough Party at 9:50 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 13. Sunday School and Teen Bible Study start at 9:50 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 20. Contact Trina Kleist for more information about summer events and the fall program: trinakleist@gmail.com or call/txt (530) 575-6132.
