Get blessed!
When we believe in Jesus as the Son of God, God adopts us as his own children – He chooses us! Then, as God’s children, God lavishes upon us “every spiritual blessing,” St. Paul writes.
One of the gifts we receive is the power of the Holy Spirit, who helps us follow the model of Jesus in our daily lives! Check out St. Paul’s letter to the Ephesians — the topic for this coming Sunday at PEACE Lutheran Church.

Today’s Sermon: “My Celebrity Look-Alike: It Matters to be Chosen!”
Pastor Tom Miller will preside today. Teaching points:
- Being a celebrity look alike is a big deal – there’s even a web site.
- It matters that we reflect the image of our “spiritual look-alike,” Jesus, the one who chose.
- It matters to be chosen — blessed.
- It matters to be chosen – we don’t have to choose to sin any more.
- It matters to be chosen – we can reflect Christ and bring Christ glory.
Adult Bible Study
10 a.m. in the Old Fellowship Hall. Pastor Tom Miller will conclude his discussion of Revelations’ letters to seven early churches. Today, we focus on the messages to Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea – faithful, but flawed congregations. All are welcome to learn more about this puzzling, fascinating, final book in the New Testament.

Earthcare Day Camp – This year’s summer program is 9 a.m.-12 p.m. July 20-23 at Grass Valley United Methodist Church. Our focus is on becoming faithful stewards of God’s amazing creation! Registration is open now – look for sheets on the Welcome Desk in the Atrium at PEACE. Volunteers of all ages are warmly welcomed – see the sign-up sheet in the Atrium!
