At church this Sunday, we hear a reference to the cosmic tree of life in which all the birds of the air are nesting. The tree we gather around is the cross of Christ. Come be a bird on this tree!

Pastor Bill Roleder Sunday. Bill is a long-time member who is celebrating 65 years of ordination on June 18, 2015. Our church Council will host a coffee and cake reception in the pastor’s honor between services today (9:45-10:45 a.m.). A brief special presentation will be around 10:40 a.m.

Adult Bible Study
Due to the reception honoring Pastor Bill Roleder, no adult class will be held June 14. On Sunday, June 21, Pastor David Baker will facilitate the Adult Class on the topic: “Do things happen for a reason?” What do you think?

Youth @ PLC (our all-ages Bible study) meets at 10 a.m. downstairs in the Youth Room.
